Why this site starts where the parent site stops

The fat-removal guide in this cluster answers whether to have an operation and what that operation does. That question is settled before this site is useful. What this site answers is how a goal becomes a plan: which tissue in which areas, whether they are treated together or apart, and what the combination costs in operating time, recovery weeks and scars.

Why the plan is described in time and weeks

The extra risk of treating more than one area is carried by the total operating and anaesthetic time, and the extra cost is carried by the recovery. Both are units a patient can plan around: how long the operation runs, how many areas are healing at once, how many weeks of garments and restricted activity, and how many separate marks are left. Adjectives about the result are not part of this site.

How it is reviewed

The content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, head of aesthetic surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no product and no brand, quotes no dosage and no price, promises no outcome, and states plainly that scars are permanent and that a combined result is not readable early.

What this site cannot do

It cannot tell you which areas of your own body carry the complaint, how long your operation would run, or how much tissue can safely be removed from any one area. Those are findings from an examination and an anaesthetic assessment. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask which areas the proposal treats, which it leaves out and why, and what the recovery takes from the specific weeks ahead of you.
